One dead, three injured in crash

One person has died and three other people have been injured in a road accident at Pembrey, near Burry Port in Carmarthenshire.

One casualty had to be cut free by fire crews following the collision between two cars in Lando Road shortly after 0300 GMT on Saturday.

The Welsh Ambulance Service said one person died at the scene

Three other casualties were taken to hospital with head, facial and leg and arm injuries.
