Glens move top after victory

Glentoran went top of the Carnegie Premier League on goal difference with a thumping 4-0 win over Institute.

Gary Hamilton controlled the ball, turned a defender and shot into the bottom left-hand corner of the net after just three minutes at the Oval.

Tim McCann lifted the ball past Michael Doherty for number two after 50 minutes and Colin Nixon forced the ball over the line for the third on 55 minutes.

Chris Morgan completed the rout with a goal in the final minute.

Hamilton's goal was his 13th of the season and soon after David Ogilby was wide with a long-range free-kick for Institute.
